CardiaTouch presented data at the 2015 American College of Cardiology meeting in San Diego demonstrating that blinded physician and non-physician subjects can palpate and distinguish blood flow characteristics, contact force, and intra-cardiac pressure waveforms from digitized physiologic signals.

CardiaTouch completed animal studies demonstrating that the CardiaTouch Haptic System provides a real-time tactile representation of catheter: tissue contact force amplitude in a swine model during radiofrequency ablation of cardiac tissue and seamlessly interface with commercialized contact force sensing systems.

CardiaTouch joined Evergreen Medical Technologies at the 2015 International Heart Rhythm Society meeting in Boston, MA to demonstrate the Haptic Handle.

Summer 2016  

Enrolled first dozen patients in IRB-approved protocol “Transseptal Puncture Haptic Feedback System” at State University of NY Stony Brook’s Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab, and performed physician survey using acquired waveforms during in-human transseptal puncture for AF ablation.

December 2017  

Data from IRB protocol on Transseptal and Epicardial Haptic Feedback System accepted by Cardiovascular Research Technologies 2018 and for publication in JACC Interventions.
